Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 122.75 points up at 62969.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sancode Technologies(down 20.00 per cent), Cargotrans Maritime(down 20.00 per cent), Cenlub Ind(down 19.99 per cent), Aimco Pesticide(down 18.32 per cent) and Technocraft Ind(down 17.67 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks closed in the green, while 27 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 35.2 points up at 18633.85.
On the BSE, Vedant Asset, Soni Medicare L, First Custodian, GRM Overseas and White Organic Retail hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Force Motors, Comfort Intech, Focus Business Sol, Munjal Showa and Riba Textiles touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
