Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 142.43 points up at 60806.22 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Alacrity Sec(down 19.87 per cent), Tranway Technologies(down 15.63 per cent), R&B Denims(down 15.61 per cent), JTEKT India (down 14.86 per cent) and Goldcoin Health Fds.(down 13.88 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 21.75 points up at 17893.45.
On the BSE, Piramal Pharma Ltd., Shelter Infra, UTL Industries, Transwarr Fin(PP)and Everest Kanto hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Bartronics, Quality RO Industries Ltd., Captain Technocast, Everlon Synth and Relicab Cable Manufa touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
