Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 659.31 points up at 59688.22 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Maha Corp Ltd(down 68.00 per cent), Sprayking Agro Equip(down 19.29 per cent), Dipna Pharmachem Ltd.(down 15.79 per cent), BEML(down 15.08 per cent) and SBL Infratech Ltd.(down 11.29 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 174.35 points up at 17798.75.
On the BSE, Maha Corp Ltd(PP), Gennex Labs(PP), Mehai Technology, A F Enterprises and Naturo Indiabull Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kaarya Facilities, Dolfin Rubbers, Uday Jewellery, GKB Ophthalmics and Vinyl Chemicals touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
