Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1041.47 points up at 56857.79 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Loyal Equipments Ltd(down 17.96 per cent), Yogi Infra Proj(down 16.24 per cent), Brady Morris Eng(down 13.21 per cent), G V Films(down 12.38 per cent) and Sandur Manganese(down 11.62 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 287.8 points up at 16929.6.
On the BSE, IMP Powers Ltd, Union Quality, Garment Mantra Life, Spicejet and Integra Engg hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Lotus Eye Hosp, Campus Activewear Ltd., Rudra Global Infra, Kenvi Jewels and Alfavision Over touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
