Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 427.49 points up at 54178.46 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, V R Films & Studios(down 13.48 per cent), Gagan Gases(down 12.98 per cent), SBL Infratech Ltd.(down 10.73 per cent), Indo-City Info(down 10.55 per cent) and Advait Infratech(down 10.16 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 143.1 points up at 16132.9.
On the BSE, Navoday Enterprises Ltd., Silver Oak Comm, Parsvnath Dev., Shantai Industries and Andhra Cements hit their fresh 52-week lows, while PC Jeweller, Lumax Auto Tech, Rajratan Global, Pearl Green Clubs and Resorts Ltd. and Ashiana Ispat touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
