Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 33.2 points up at 55702.23 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd.(down 19.04 per cent), Ashoka Metcast(down 13.08 per cent), B P Capital(down 11.02 per cent), Morepen Labs(down 10.65 per cent) and Shelter Infra(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks closed in the green, while 29 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 5.05 points up at 16682.65.
On the BSE, Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd., Uma Exports Ltd., Zomato Ltd., Natural Biocon(I)and Future Enterprises (DVR)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Starteck Finance, Time Technoplast, Ishita Drugs, Decorous Investme and Shish Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
