Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 113.11 points up at 57901.14 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Bhartiya Intnl(down 14.24 per cent), Chandrima Mercantile(down 13.06 per cent), BN Rathi Sec(down 10.49 per cent), Relic Techn(down 10.00 per cent) and Sagar Diamonds(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks closed in the green, while 26 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 27.0 points up at 17248.4.
On the BSE, Amaze Entertech, Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Brand Realty, Olympic Oil and Sparkling(India)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nitco, Borosil L, Bhilwara Spin, Valson Ind and S P Capital Fin touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
