Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 157.45 points up at 58807.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, SK International Exp(down 19.94 per cent), Sumedha Fiscal(down 16.91 per cent), AKM Lace and Embrote(down 10.15 per cent), Fruition Venture(down 10.00 per cent) and Diksat Transworld L(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks closed in the green, while 22 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 47.1 points up at 17516.85.
On the BSE, Patel Integrat(PP), SK International Exp, Nexus Commoditie, Vallabh Steels and V R Woodart hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Next Mediaworks, Ad-Manum Fin, WEP Solutions, Aartech Solonics and Auto Corp Goa touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
