Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 115.39 points up at 76520.38 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Navoday Enterprises(down 15.44 per cent), SRG Housing Fin(down 13.03 per cent), Systematix Sec(down 12.18 per cent), Auto Corp Goa (down 11.10 per cent) and Puravankara (down 9.70 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 50.0 points at 23205.35.

On the BSE, Photoquip Ind, TTI Enterprise, Mamata Machinery, DAM Capital Advisors and Krishna Vent hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Zensar Tech, Palm Jewels, D & H India, Ind-Agiv Comm and Yash Trading touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
