Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 236.57 points up at 83184.8 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Vodafone Idea(down 19.59 per cent), Tanvi Foods(India)(down 14.98 per cent), Sovereign Diamonds(down 10.51 per cent), Warren Tea(down 10.45 per cent) and Systematix Sec(down 10.32 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 38.25 points up at 25415.8.
On the BSE, Vodafone Idea, P N Gadgil Jewellers, Sprayking Agro Equip, Axtel Ind and Kross L hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Cube Highways Trust, Neogen Chemicals, Nyssa Corporation, Available Fin and AGI Infra Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
