Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 204.33 points up at 76810.9 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sanofi India(down 35.09 per cent), S R G Sec. Fin.(down 20.00 per cent), J A Finance(down 11.81 per cent), Mihika Industries(down 9.99 per cent) and SVS Ventures(down 9.97 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 75.96 points up at 23398.9.
On the BSE, Sanofi India, AVI Products India, Mehta Sec, Remedium Lifecare and Adcon Capital Services hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Teesta Agro Industries Ltd., Odyssey Corp, Selan Expl Tech, Bharat Rasayan and DRC Systems India touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
