Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 195.42 points up at 72500.3 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Diggi Multitrade(down 13.42 per cent), Billwin Industries L(down 13.33 per cent), Chandra Bhagat Pharm(down 12.82 per cent), Wires Fabrics(down 9.98 per cent) and Jet Infraventure(down 9.91 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 31.65 points up at 21982.8.

On the BSE, Vibhor Steel Tubes, Adcon Capital Servic, Triveni Enterprises, Capital Small Financ and Sanmit Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nilachal Refrac, Bharat Parentera, Paisalo Digital, Juniper Hotels and Forbes Company touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
