Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 52.01 points up at 67519.0 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Gretex Corporate Ser(down 13.36 per cent), SMIFS Capital(down 10.00 per cent), Ascensive Educare(down 9.84 per cent), EP Biocomposites(down 9.44 per cent) and Naapbooks Ltd.(down 9.09 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks closed in the green, while 19 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 33.1 points up at 20103.1.
On the BSE, IDream Film, Ambassador Intra, Toyam Industries, Karnavati Finance Lt and Hypersoft Technolog. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kalyani Steels, Andrew Yule, BCL Industries, Sakthi Sugars and Magadh Sugar Energy touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
