Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 786.74 points up at 60746.59 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sanmit Infra(down 88.00 per cent), Alacrity Sec(down 20.00 per cent), Spaceage Products(down 20.00 per cent), Mangalore Chem(down 19.80 per cent) and GCM Comm(down 19.28 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 225.4 points up at 18012.2.
On the BSE, Sportking India, Intellect Design, Tracxn Technologies Ltd., PrismxGlobalVent and Rel Capital hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Gloster, Avantel, Modis Navnirman Ltd., Containe Technologies Ltd. and Ravalgaon Sugar touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
