Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 237.42 points up at 51597.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Vivimed Labs(down 19.96 per cent), Tatia Global(down 19.81 per cent), New Light Apparels(down 19.46 per cent), MRPL(down 18.98 per cent) and Tranway Technologies(down 18.93 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks closed in the green, while 24 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 56.65 points up at 15350.15.
On the BSE, Vivimed Labs, New Light Apparels, Scanpoint Geo, Garnet Const and FACT hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nintec Systems Ltd., Apar Industries, Kohinoor Foods, Mercury Metals and Saianand Commercial Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
