Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 17 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 231.29 points up at 57593.49 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Wardwizard Innov(down 52.62 per cent), SM Auto(down 17.65 per cent), Seacoast Shipping(down 13.39 per cent), Manomay Tex India(down 12.82 per cent) and Danlaw Technologies(down 10.21 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 17 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 69.0 points up at 17222.0.

On the BSE, Wardwizard Innov(PP), Danlaw Technologies, Future Enterprises, Sadbhav Eng and Subex hit their fresh 52-week lows, while SPV Global Trading Ltd., Asian Hotels(E), Active Clothing Co, Lemon Tree Hotels and Seamec Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
