Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 295.93 points up at 57420.24 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, RBL Bank(down 18.32 per cent), Atam Valves(down 12.80 per cent), Lex Nimble Solutions(down 11.61 per cent), Singer India(down 9.98 per cent) and PTL Enterprises(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks closed in the green, while 12 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 82.5 points up at 17086.25.

On the BSE, RBL Bank, Lex Nimble Solutions, Janus Corporation, Indra Industries and ND Metal Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while HP Adhesives Ltd., Lokesh Machines, Kingfa Science Tech, Mercantile Ventures and LKP Securities touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
