Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks closed in the green, while 37 stocks ended in the red.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 145.43 points up at 60967.05 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Kaarya Facilities(down 20.00 per cent), Khemani Dist(down 18.15 per cent), Ami Organics Ltd.(down 15.82 per cent), Sahyadri Ind(down 13.63 per cent) and IRCTC(down 12.92 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks closed in the green, while 37 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 10.5 points up at 18125.4.

On the BSE, Khemani Dist, Huhtamaki PPL, Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd., Vax Housing Fin and MPS Infotecnics hit their fresh 52-week lows, while RTCL Ltd, Bharat Agri Fert, Panasonic Energy, VTM Ltd and Bindal Exports touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
