Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 855.3 points up at 79408.5 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, AA Plus Tradelink(down 19.82 per cent), Franklin Leasing & Finance(down 16.12 per cent), Akme Fintrade(India(down 12.42 per cent), Trinity League(down 11.44 per cent) and Sea TV Network(down 11.37 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 273.9 points up at 24125.55.
On the BSE, Jaybharat Text, Dhruva Capital, Sterling Guar, Nat Gen Ind and Gensol Engg hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Aavas Financiers, Rishabh Digha, Bemco Hydraulic, Sika Interplant and Mideast Portfolio Management touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
