Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 57.65 points up at 75996.86 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Suratwwala Business(down 20.00 per cent), Beryl Drugs(down 20.00 per cent), Zen Tech(down 19.99 per cent), Best Agrolife(down 19.99 per cent) and Kiduja India(down 19.98 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 30.25 points up at 22959.5.

On the BSE, DEE Development Eng, Best Agrolife, Magellanic Cloud, Mysore Petro and Denis Chem Lab hit their fresh 52-week lows, while RDB Real Estate Cons, Aarti Pharmalabs, Camlin Fine Sc, Naysaa Securities and Aryaman Fin touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
