Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 591.69 points up at 81973.05 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Clariant Chem(down 16.96 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 13.92 per cent), Hawa Engineers(down 10.00 per cent), M B Parikh Fin(down 9.99 per cent) and Ausom Enterprise(down 9.99 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 163.71 points up at 25127.95.

On the BSE, Rajnish Wellness, Vijay Textiles, A F Enterprises(PP), K&R Rail Engineering and Vinny Overseas hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Capital India Fin, V B Desai, Ladderup Fin, Ceeta Ind and Velan Hotels touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
