Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks closed in the green, while 16 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 384.3 points up at 84928.61 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, AccelerateBS India(down 18.00 per cent), Fusion Micro Finance(down 9.99 per cent), Associated Coaters(down 9.97 per cent), Modern Steels(down 9.97 per cent) and Ashram Online(down 9.93 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks closed in the green, while 16 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 148.1 points up at 25939.05.

On the BSE, Fusion Micro Finance, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Rossell India, Ankit Metal Pwr and Grand Foundry hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Arnold Holdings, Chennai Ferrous Ind, Sovereign Diamonds, Ambar Protein Ind and Regency Investments touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
