Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 97.84 points up at 82988.78 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Exhicon Events Media(down 12.84 per cent), Prime Fresh(down 11.96 per cent), Karnavati Finance(down 10.00 per cent), Sportking India(down 9.98 per cent) and Veeram Securities(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 27.25 points up at 25383.75.
On the BSE, Grand Foundry, Compuage Infocom, JCT Ltd, Shashijit Infraprojects and Mudunuru hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Oswal Green Tech, Swarnsarita Gems, Mardia Samyoung, Saboo Sodium and Optimus Finance touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
