Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 194.07 points up at 82559.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Veer Global Infraconstruction(down 13.79 per cent), Prime Property(down 11.77 per cent), KJMC Financial(down 11.08 per cent), Silicon Rental Solutions(down 10.25 per cent) and Futuristic Sol(down 10.10 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks closed in the green, while 23 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 42.8 points up at 25278.7.

On the BSE, Lesha Ind, Alufluoride Ltd, Trinity League, V R Woodart and Globale Tessile hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Mardia Samyoung, HB Estate Dev, PBA Infra, Deep Industries and Munjal Auto Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
