Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 611.9 points up at 81698.11 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Lesha Ind(down 16.96 per cent), Awfis Space Solution(down 12.05 per cent), Rama Steel Tubes(down 10.46 per cent), Sakuma Exports(down 9.94 per cent) and Ganga Pharmaceutical(down 9.73 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 187.45 points up at 25010.6.

On the BSE, Lesha Ind, Suraj Industries(PP), MSR India, Saraswati Saree Depo and Sharat Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Uma Exports, Panacea Biotec, CESC Ventures, Maris Spinners and Oriental Trimex touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
