Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 23.12 points up at 81355.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Karnimata Cold Store(down 19.97 per cent), Brisk Technovision(down 12.09 per cent), Superior Ind(down 10.00 per cent), Mega Nirman & Ind(down 9.95 per cent) and Otco Intnl(down 9.52 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 1.25 points up at 24836.1.
On the BSE, Confidence Futuristic Energetech, Equitas Small Fin, Aroma Enterprises, Morarjee Text and Brightcom Group hit their fresh 52-week lows, while VMS Industries, Gujarat Intrux, Ester Ind, Comfort Intech and Perfect Octave touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
