Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 363.2 points up at 74014.55 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Achyut Healthcare(down 18.06 per cent), Umiya Tubes Ltd.(down 11.76 per cent), AVI Products India (down 10.68 per cent), Gian Life Care(down 9.81 per cent) and Adeshwar Meditex(down 7.29 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks closed in the green, while 19 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 135.1 points up at 22462.0.
On the BSE, Umiya Tubes Ltd., Garbi Finvest, Starcom Info, Pithampur Poly and Yarn Syndicate(PP)hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Dugar Housing Dev., Action Const., Hind Copper, Cochin Shipyard and Nila Spaces L touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
