Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 66.14 points up at 73872.29 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Lotus Eye Hosp(down 19.99 per cent), Sagar Diamonds(down 19.98 per cent), Sigachi Industries(down 13.60 per cent), Fraser & Company(down 12.92 per cent) and Sylph Tech(down 11.65 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks closed in the green, while 26 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 27.2 points up at 22405.6.
On the BSE, Lotus Eye Hosp, Fraser & Company, South West Pinnacle, Decorous Investme and GPT Healthcare hit their fresh 52-week lows, while SIL Investments, SAB Industries, Ganges Securities, GP Petroleums and Nat Plastic touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
