Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 102.93 points up at 69928.53 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Dr. Lalchandani Labs(down 19.82 per cent), SDC Techmedia(down 19.24 per cent), Bothra Metals(down 17.58 per cent), Trivikrama Ind(down 15.61 per cent) and Misquita Engineering(down 13.39 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 27.7 points up at 20997.1.

On the BSE, Welcon International, B P Capital, Synthiko Foils, GlobalSpace Techno and Sharad Fbrs. &Yrn. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Indian Renewable, ShriBajrangAlliance, Kaycee Ind, Energy Deve Co and Cheviot Company touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
