Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 594.91 points up at 64958.69 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Available Fin(down 16.07 per cent), Maruti Interior Prod(down 14.86 per cent), Prevest Denpro(down 13.91 per cent), Sheetal Cool(down 13.45 per cent) and ASI Industries (down 12.07 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks closed in the green, while 6 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 181.15 points up at 19411.75.
On the BSE, Available Fin, Sheetal Cool, Prabhat Tech, TCI Finance and Manor Estates & Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Welcast Steels, Uniroyal Ind, Chembond Chem, IFGL Refractories and Industrial Invst touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
