Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 232.23 points up at 65953.48 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Scarnose Internation(down 15.31 per cent), Venkys (down 15.28 per cent), Royal Orchid(down 13.06 per cent), Fairchem Organics(down 12.96 per cent) and Jigar Cables(down 12.50 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 80.3 points up at 19597.3.
On the BSE, Shree Precoated, Suditi Ind, Corp Courier, Svarnim Trade Udyog and Sampre Nutrition hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Concord Control Sys, Silver Oak, Motor Gen Fin, Maestros Elec and Birla Cable touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
