Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 899.62 points up at 59808.97 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Anuroop Packaging Lt(down 20.00 per cent), ShriBajrangAlliance(down 12.61 per cent), Comfort Fincap(down 12.56 per cent), Promax Power Ltd.(down 11.83 per cent) and Superior Finlease(down 11.06 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 272.45 points up at 17594.35.
On the BSE, Pyxis Finvest, Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Danube Industries L, Ajcon Global and Sun and Shine hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Imagicaaworld Entert, ISMT Ltd, WPIL Ltd, Finolex Cables and Josts Engineering touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
