Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 20.96 points up at 62293.64 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Ducon Infra(down 11.77 per cent), Modis Navnirman Ltd.(down 10.00 per cent), Sovereign Diam(down 9.91 per cent), Fabino Life Sciences Ltd.(down 9.91 per cent) and Garware Synth(down 9.83 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

The index closed 28.65 points up at 18512.75.
On the BSE, Jump Networks, FutureLifestyleFash, Future Enterprises, PrismxGlobalVent and UTL Industries hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Commercial Syn Bags, Dev Information Tech, Panama Petro, Orient Beverage and BSL Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
