Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 59.15 points up at 58833.87 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Jointeca Edu(down 20.00 per cent), GCM Capital Adv.(down 14.32 per cent), Amaze Entertech(down 12.36 per cent), GKP Printing & Pack(down 9.99 per cent) and Alan Scott Industrie(down 9.96 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 36.45 points up at 17558.9.
On the BSE, GVK Power Infra, Aspira Pathlab & Dia, MSR India, Darshan Orna and Earum Pharmaceutical hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Vinyl Chemicals, Angel Fibers, Sky Gold, Mafatlal Ind and Goel Food Products Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
