Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 712.46 points up at 57570.25 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Yogi Infra Proj(down 18.37 per cent), B P Capital(down 17.78 per cent), G V Films(down 10.87 per cent), Omnipotent Industries Ltd.(down 10.76 per cent) and Remi Edelstahl(down 10.13 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 228.65 points up at 17158.25.
On the BSE, Bajaj Hindusthan Su, Mukesh Babu Fin, Aarnav Fashions, Max Alert Systems Ltd. and IMP Powers Ltd hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Speciality Rest, Sree Rayalaseema, Lotus Eye Hosp, Enkei Wheels and Beardsell Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
