Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1534.16 points up at 54326.39 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Pyxis Finvest(down 19.80 per cent), ICL Organic Dairy(down 16.36 per cent), Bhagwati Auto(down 11.72 per cent), Garment Mantra Life(down 11.63 per cent) and Equitas Small Fin(down 11.38 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 48 stocks closed in the green, while 2 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 456.75 points up at 16266.15.
On the BSE, Pyxis Finvest, Garment Mantra Life, Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd., Milestone Furniture and Concor hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Welspun Corp, Nava Bharat Vent., Grauer & Weil, Rose Merc. Ltd. and Praveg Comm touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
