Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 218.14 points up at 81224.75 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Magellanic Cloud(down 16.72 per cent), Jay Kailash Namkeen(down 14.17 per cent), Natura Hue Chem(down 13.73 per cent), Manappuram Finance(down 13.50 per cent) and Elecon Engg Co(down 12.64 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 104.21 points up at 24854.05.
On the BSE, Magellanic Cloud, Prismx Global Ventures, V R Woodart, PVV Infra and SecUR Credentials hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Omansh Enterprises, Abans Enterprises, Hind Aluminium, Duncan Engineering and Diffusion Engineers touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
