Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 231.16 points up at 82365.77 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Inventure Grwth(down 19.80 per cent), Disha Resources (down 12.39 per cent), Systematix Sec(down 9.93 per cent), Samtex Fashions(down 9.56 per cent) and Indian Toners(down 9.49 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 83.96 points up at 25235.9.

On the BSE, ISF Ltd, Shashijit Infraprojects, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Globale Tessile and Saraswati Saree Depo hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prime Property, Enterprise Intnl, Jainex Aamcol, Globus Spirits and CIL Securities touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
