Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

In the Nifty pack, 47 stocks closed in the green, while 3 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1330.96 points up at 80436.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Ganga Pharmaceutical(down 20.00 per cent), Shri Jagdamba(down 13.99 per cent), OK Play India(down 12.55 per cent), Ishan Dyes Chem(down 12.49 per cent) and Dhanashree Electro(down 12.37 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 47 stocks closed in the green, while 3 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 397.41 points up at 24541.15.

On the BSE, Calcom Vision, DHP India, Vinaditya Trad, Arman Financial and IRM Energy hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Uflex, Ola Electric Mobilit, Interactive Financial Services, Garnet Const and Rajkumar Forge touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
