Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1245.05 points up at 73745.35 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Paul Merchants(down 19.99 per cent), Sagar Diamonds(down 19.98 per cent), Agro Tech Foods(down 17.42 per cent), Shiva Granito Export(down 9.80 per cent) and Neil Industries(down 9.59 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks closed in the green, while 13 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 355.96 points up at 22338.75.
On the BSE, Ambar Protein Indust, Stampede Cap(DVR), Triveni Enterprises, GPT Healthcare and GKB Ophthalmics hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Saraswati Comm, Rico Auto, Kalyani Steels, Windlas Biotech and The Hi-Tech Gears touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
