Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 496.37 points up at 71683.23 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Golkunda Diam(down 10.00 per cent), Money Masters(down 9.99 per cent), SDC Techmedia(down 9.69 per cent), Motisons Jewellers(down 9.08 per cent) and Indo Thai Sec(down 8.28 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 160.16 points up at 21622.4.
On the BSE, Digidrive Distributo, Stampede Cap(DVR), Adhbhut Infrastructu, Shreeji Translogisti and Flair Writing Indust hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Indrayani Bio, Minaxi Textiles, Sovereign Diam, Baroda Extrusion and Rail Vikas Nigam touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
