Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 969.55 points up at 71483.75 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, City Pulse Multiplex(down 14.92 per cent), Innocorp Ltd(down 11.44 per cent), Shanti Guru Industri(down 10.68 per cent), Creative Eye(down 10.20 per cent) and Indian Renewable(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.


The index closed 273.95 points up at 21456.65.

On the BSE, IFL Enterprises, Eastcoast Steel, Adhbhut Infrastructu, Bacil Pharma and Gala Global Prod hit their fresh 52-week lows, while BNK Cap Market, Times Guaranty, Coral India Finance, Smart Finsec L and Oriental Trimex touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
