Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 492.75 points up at 67481.19 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, RGF Capital Markets(down 20.00 per cent), Ascensive Educare(down 18.05 per cent), Whirlpool India(down 9.58 per cent), New India Assurance(down 9.34 per cent) and City Pulse Multiplex(down 7.87 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 19 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 134.75 points up at 20267.9.
On the BSE, RGF Capital Markets, Gandhar Oil Refinery, Sharad Fbrs. &Yrn., Adhbhut Infrastructu and Monnet Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Chennai Multi, Tanfac Ind, Amraworld Agri, Shalimar Paints and Datamatics Glob touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
