Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks were trading in the green, while 18 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 90.2 points up at 60390.78 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Gallops Enterprise Ltd.(down 19.34 per cent), Nihar Info Glob(down 12.23 per cent), Frontline Corp(down 10.00 per cent), J A Finance Ltd.(down 9.99 per cent) and Enterprise Intnl(down 9.58 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 22.75 points up at 17836.35.

On the BSE, BEML Land Assets, Padmanabh Alloys & Polymers Ltd., Brightcom Group, Disha Resources and Spectra Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while GE T&D India, Barak Valley, Focus Business Solution Ltd., J L Morison and N K Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
