NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 54.97 points up at 59710.03 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Nettlinx Ltd(down 47.50 per cent), GCM Comm(down 19.15 per cent), Mukta Agriculture(down 16.60 per cent), Chothani Foods(down 15.72 per cent) and Kesar India Ltd.(down 13.46 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 0 stocks traded in the green, while 0 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 12.0 points up at 17636.05.
On the BSE, Safa Systems & Technologies Ltd., Neelamalai Agro, Gilada Fin. & Inv., Onesource Ideas Ven and Padmanabh Alloys & Polymers Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Dev Labtech Venture, Naysaa Securities, KPT Industries, Ircon Intl. and Rail Vikas Nigam touched their fresh 52-week highs.
