Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 134.92 points up at 59702.72 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Super Fine Knitters(down 20.00 per cent), United Van Der(down 11.29 per cent), Shri Krishna(down 10.20 per cent), ResGen Ltd.(down 9.55 per cent) and Bhakti Gems and Jewe(down 9.09 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 19 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 28.5 points up at 17647.25.

On the BSE, Roni Households, Optiemus Infra, EKI Energy Services Ltd., BEML Land Assets and Disha Resources hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kirloskar Elec, SML Isuzu, Integra Engg, Titagarh Wagons and Kamat Hotels touched their fresh 52-week highs.
