NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 350.74 points up at 59457.18 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Polymac Thermoform(down 11.71 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 10.00 per cent), Kay Power Ppr(down 9.89 per cent), Market Creators(down 9.81 per cent) and Welcast Steels(down 9.09 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 0 stocks traded in the green, while 0 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 89.7 points up at 17487.75.
On the BSE, Prabhat Tech, Patron Exim Ltd., SCI, Seya Industries and White Organic Retail hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Asian Hotels, Bodhi Tree Multimed, Comfort Intech, KEI Industries and Kamdhenu Ventures Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
