Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 599.25 points up at 58559.34 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, SCI(down 23.89 per cent), Creative Eye(down 18.64 per cent), Relicab Cable Manufa(down 16.16 per cent), Indo-City Info(down 12.14 per cent) and Vedant Asset Ltd.(down 10.01 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks traded in the green, while 14 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 167.6 points up at 17248.3.

On the BSE, Inditrade Capital, Looks Health Servic, Atishay, Resonance Spec and SW Investments hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Racl Geartech, ResGen Ltd., Asian Hotels, Ranjeet Mechatronics and Bharat Wire Ropes touched their fresh 52-week highs.
