Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 120.15 points up at 58194.83 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Promax Power Ltd.(down 15.10 per cent), PAE Ltd(down 11.42 per cent), Ushdev Intnl(down 10.96 per cent), ECS Biztech(down 9.90 per cent) and Trident Lifeline Ltd.(down 9.27 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 38.7 points up at 17146.2.

On the BSE, Patron Exim Ltd., Ansal Housing, Seven Hill Ind, Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd. and Sudarshan Pharma Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Gretex Corporate Services Ltd., O P Chains Ltd., HB Estate Dev, Macfos Ltd. and Integra Engg touched their fresh 52-week highs.
