Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 305.92 points up at 60737.76 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, EKI Energy Services Ltd.(down 20.00 per cent), Sanmit Infra(down 19.99 per cent), Hindustan Adhes(down 18.58 per cent), Trio Mercantile(down 17.98 per cent) and Allcargo Logistics(down 17.19 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 77.3 points up at 17848.2.

On the BSE, EKI Energy Services Ltd., Hindustan Adhes, Zee Learn, Ankit Metal Pwr and Dynemic Product hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sam Industries, KPT Industries, Nettlinx Ltd, Ganesh Benzo and Sangam Renewables touched their fresh 52-week highs.
